A Fiery Eclipse will be visible in the US this Year
This year's solar eclipse is in October. The color of the fire eclipse will be seen crossing the western United States in October this year. NASA says that the lunar eclipse is going to happen on October 14.
Ring Of Fire
It will be the first time
since May 2012 that the US will see a "Ring of Fire" eclipse in
October. The next lunar eclipse will occur when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, but when it is far from or close to
the Earth, it will be eclipsed.
Solar Eclipse in America
Because the Moon is so
far from Earth, it appears much smaller than the Sun and cannot cover it
completely, according to NASA. It will be bright. Its shape will be like a ring shape. And this halo will be visible around
the moon. The solar eclipse will be visible in many countries in America,
Mexico, and South-Central America.
Oregon and Texas
In the US, the event
starts at 9:13 AM in Oregon and ends at 12:03 PM in Texas. While 90% of the
solar eclipse will be visible in Oregon and Texas. According to the Department
of Meteorology, this partial eclipse will be visible in many states, including Oregon, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, and some areas
of California. The total solar eclipse will be visible in 49 continental
states, including Alaska.
The moon blocks the Light
Usually, during a solar
eclipse, the moon never completely blocks the light from the sun, so a special
eye protection device is used to view the sun during a solar eclipse. Viewing the Sun without protective equipment can cause
eye damage. Skywatchers commonly use skywatchers to view the eclipse, such as using
a pinhole projector.
Solar Researcher
The news agency said on
its website that this is a great opportunity for NASA's solar researchers and
solar eclipse testers to view the solar eclipse next year in April 2024 as a
total solar eclipse using scientific instruments. The news agency wrote on its website that NASA gives researchers the opportunity to be aware of
changes in space to be prepared for scrutiny and testing of this eclipse.
However, NASA says that the lunar eclipse NASA also plans to launch a sounding
rocket into the atmosphere for testing.
Solar Eclipse Fest
The 2024 lunar eclipse is
generally being called by NASA as one of the rarest such eclipses ever seen. A
day-long festival called "Solar Eclipse Fest" was held in Del Rio,
Texas on the days of the eclipses that preceded this eclipse - the festival is
said to have started on April 5. Ended on April 9, the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame in Cleveland, Ohio held an event to mark the occasion. Now let's see how
they celebrate this solar and lunar eclipse in October.
