Ahmed and Anam Aziz from Lahore have become the first Pakistani couple to climb the eighth-highest peak in the world. Seven Summit Trek announced on social platform X that Ahmed and Anam have climbed the 8th peak this morning (September 24). Manaslu, the eighth-highest peak in the world, has reached 1,633 meters.

In the tweet congratulating the couple, it was written that Ahmed and Anum Aziz are the first Pakistani husband and wife who have climbed more than 8 thousand peaks together. While congratulating Ahmad and Anam, young Pakistani mountaineer Shahroz Kashif said, "Ahmed and Anam Aziz you both have done it, this is really a wonderful achievement. When did Ahmed and Anam start their journey to reach Manaslu Peak?" Details in this regard have not been revealed.

According to the tweet, apart from Ahmed and Anam, three Nepalese mountaineers have also reached Manaslu Peak. Three days ago, the Karakoram Club announced on the social platform X that the mountaineer Naila Kayani has climbed the eighth-highest peak in the world and she is the first Pakistani woman to achieve this feat.
Peak Manaslu
She successfully climbed the world's eighth highest peak Manaslu at 7:56 a.m. on September 21 and became the first Pakistani woman to do this feat. Along with Naila Kayani, another Pakistani mountaineer Sarbaz Khan also summited Mount Manaslu without supplemental oxygen.

Before this, Naila Kayani also climbed Manasaluki Peak. Pakistani mountaineer Naila Kayani had the honor of becoming the first Pakistani woman to climb the world's eighth-highest peak “Manaslu”.
