team's fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the rest of the
rain-affected Asia Cup match against India due to injury. In a brief statement issued
by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), it was said that fast bowler Haris Rauf
will not bowl anymore in the match against India in the Asia Cup Super-Four.
This is a precautionary measure.
Feeling Slight Pain
Regarding Haris Rauf's
injury, PCB said that he was feeling slight pain on the right side of his body
during the match yesterday and as a precaution, he
underwent an MRI which was clear. The
board said that Haris Rauf is still under the supervision of the team's medical
panel.

According to the report
of Cricinfo, Morne Morkel, the bowling coach of the Pakistan cricket team, said
that there has been a problem
with Haris Raouf-Comsels and the World Cup is near, that's why we are giving
him rest and not taking any risk. He said that Haris Rauf was hurt in the
second over during the match yesterday.
Absence of Haris Rauf
In the absence of Haris
Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah will have an extra burden on the
wicket while Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed as spinners
are facing difficulties. Pakistan also has additional options in Agha Salman
who can bowl and Iftikhar Ahmed is also a part-time spinner.

the Asia Cup Super-Four match between Pakistan and India started on Sunday but
was not completed
due to rain, but due to the reserve day, it resumed today from where it ended
